The Dachshunds of Costello

Brandy, Remy and Ouzo are miniature longhaired dachshunds and Asti is a small standard longhaired dachshund. Brandy and Remy are Wagsmore dachshunds bred by Jeff and Karyn Dionne and Ouzo was co-bred by the Kathy Steele (Spectrum) and the Dionne's. Asti was bred by Patt Nance and is part of the Dorndorf line of distinguished field and conformation dachshunds. Asti's litter sister Olive joined our household in January 2010, but we've been so busy training and competing with her that we haven't had time to put photos and information on our website!

Brandy, Remy and Asti are companion dogs (that means they are neutered and not show dogs). Ouzo is a former show dog who joined us at age 3 for a performance career. All four dogs are involved in many AKC activities, including earthdog, agility, Canine Good Citizen, obedience, rally obedience, and field trials. Many of these activities are hosted by the Dachshund Club of Santa Ana Valley (DCSAV).
