Creating reports from IMS Lifecycle on the web

Support for IMS Lifecycle on the web was added to BizInt Smart Charts for Pharmaceuticals 2.3.12 (2/08/2002). BizInt Smart Charts can import records exported in RTF.

1. Do your search, and then select the Export icon above the list of records.
2. On the export dialog, select Records, the range of records you wish to export (the current limit is 250), and RTF format. Click the Export button.
   (You can include search criteria, company details, and notes, but BizInt Smart Charts does not currently process this information.)
3. A "Busy exporting" dialog may appear. You will then be asked to either save or open the file. Save the file with a location and file name you will remember.
4. Note: Do not open or edit the RTF file in Word, or you will not be able to import it into BizInt Smart Charts.
5. In BizInt Smart Charts for Pharmaceuticals, use the File | Import command to import the RTF file.
   

Images are not currently part of the Lifecycle export format.
